609. Posted April 30, 2018. This is the full list of my 27 elite specialization ideas, three whole generations designed for three distinct expansions. You can read about the first expansion idea here: Guild Wars 2: The Celestial Tournament - Cantha expansion idea. The other two aren't ready yet, but the elite specializations have been for some Thereโ€™s even a pretty big change coming to Guild Wars 2 โ€˜s elite specialization weapons which is sure to go down a treat. After coming to Steam last year, Guild Wars 2 Secrets of the Obscure So elite specializations bring 4 things to the table: 1- new traits 2- new utilities 3- new profession mechanics 4- new elite specialization weapon In many cases, #4 is the least impactful. So take Necromancer as an example. The Reaper Elite gives you access to Greatsword, but replaces Death Shroud with Reaper Shroud. My research into the Necromancer has lead me to some pretty dark conclusions. And the possibility of seeing an elite spec like this is quite high since demon magic does seem to be a part of necromancer and specifically Minions. So this spec will repurpose an old elite spec post of mine the Deathc What I want from Elite specializations is a theme and role that differs from the Core profession but still aligns with the professions' original inspirations. For example: GuardiansGuardians (and technically the entire Paladin archetype) are based on Crusaders, whom basically were religious fanatics.Dragon Hunters are themed after medieval Europe's witch hunts, which were a religious fanatical It'll allow Mesmer to be able to handle contesting nodes with the loss of Distortion as a defensive (instead blocking for 3s) and having a unique utility to use Distortion instead of built-in. I suspect lots of tuning will be required for it when it comes out due to the RAW damage I saw on that elite skill. I don't mean to sound rude, because I don't really like being this way, but.. this is what happens when you use a level boost without 1st playing ANY of the game, and not having a clue as to what's goin on. The Virtuoso is the End of Dragons Elite Specialization for the Mesmer. As a Virtuoso the Mesmer drops the ability to summon clones. Instead, the Virtuoso summons illusionary blades which you can fire at your enemies. You can also use the blades to form a protective barrier. Every hero challenge in the expansion gives you 10 points. I always do a quick run through the HoT maps and get the easy hero Points that just require you to press f on the commune point, that should get you about 100 Hero Points, then I do every PoF hero point because they are all soloable. Soulbeast is the best damage spec for ranger, and it has high burst in PvP due to longbow 2, while also having good traits and utilities. Merging with smokescale or birds gives you amazing mobility too, with either a shadowstep or multiple good movement skills. It also uses longbow in PvE, but with how boons are generated the range typically xnVp.
